Accidents at Work

man with back painA lot of accidents happen while at work – there are over 1.5 million injuries a year and over 2 million cases of illness caused or aggravated by work. If you are unlucky enough to have an accident at work it’s important that you report it to your employer and make sure details are added to the Accident Book (every employer is required to have one). By law every employer must carry “Employers Liability Insurance” so you should be covered if you do have an accident. However, for a claim to be successful you have to prove that your employer was somehow at fault.
