Trips, Slips and Falls

crutchesSlips & trips are the most common cause of major injuries at work and very often result in broken bones. The most common reason for an accident of this type is because of poor maintenance of the surface or contamination with obstacles. If you have had an accident on a pavement or other areas owned by the council then your claim will be against them. Proving their “duty of care” can sometimes be difficult but everything depends on the circumstances so contact us for advice. If your accident was on property owned by someone other than the council then the “duty of care” is often easier to prove and claims are more often successful.
