Travel Woes

A passenger who endured a transatlantic flight squashed in her seat by an obese fellow passenger settled for compensation of £13,000 from Virgin Atlantic. Barbara Hewson suffered a ruined holiday and medical complications because of nerve and muscle damage. The airline had previously proposed a variety of settlements, such as return flights and £500 in cash, but Mrs Hewson rejected these as inadequate.

If you have a holiday disaster because of the actions or neglect of the hotel, tour operator or airline, you may be entitled to compensation.
