Industrial Disease

The term “industrial disease” is widely used but might more usefully be called “work place disease” – the term covers any disease contracted as a result of your employment (office, retail, agriculture – not only heavy industry). Disease caused by your employment can be very varied but include such things as: skin disease, deafness, asbestosis, pleural plaques, stress, and repetitive strain injury (RSI).
