Wrists, Elbows

Elbows

Compensation for this injury varies greatly from "A severely disabling injury" ( £21,500 - £30,000) through to "Moderate or minor injury" (up to £7,000) where the injury is a simple fracture of the elbow.

Wrists

Wrist injuries fall into one of five different categories from an injury that results in "complete loss of function of the wrist" (£26,250 - £33,000) through to an injury that involves minimal "displacement" of the wrist and from which you will recover in a matter of months (£2,000 - £2,500).

How much?

The total amount awarded to you as a result of a successful Personal Injury claim is based on many factors including the nature and severity of the injury and any consequential damages (e.g. loss of income).  The amount awarded in compensation for a specific injury (excluding any consequential damages) is based on a set of national guidelines.

Remember - the figures shown are only for the injury itself and exclude consequential damages. The total you receive may be considerably more.
